Higher Than Before

I was standing in the shadows
Waiting for a sign
Every road was getting harder
Every mountain twice as high

But I kept moving forward
Even when I couldn't see
Now the world is opening
Right in front of me

Every fall, every fight
Led me here tonight
I can feel it coming
Like a fire inside

I'm higher than before
I'm reaching for the sky
Nothing's gonna hold me down
I'm finally alive

Higher than before
There's no turning back
Every step has made me stronger
Now I'm staying on this track

Higher, higher
Higher than before
Higher, higher
I'm coming back for more

All the walls that stood around me
Are disappearing now
All the voices saying never
Couldn't keep me on the ground

There's a rhythm in the distance
And it's calling out my name
I'm running toward tomorrow
And I'll never be the same

Every fall, every fight
Led me here tonight
I can feel it coming
Like a fire inside

I'm higher than before
I'm reaching for the sky
Nothing's gonna hold me down
I'm finally alive

Higher than before
There's no turning back
Every step has made me stronger
Now I'm staying on this track

Higher, higher
Higher than before
Higher, higher
I'm coming back for more

Higher than before
Higher than before
I'm coming back for more
